The Barc Parc at Charlotte North has 3.3 acres of dog park space, divided into a small dog area, a large dog area, and a doggie watering hole. There is even a nice walking path.
There is a lake at Barc Parc South, too. Although it’s smaller than the one at Barc Park North, it’s still a nice feature. This one features benches, a water fountain, and a fenced lake.
One of the most notable features of Barc Park South is its small dog play area. This is a 33,000 square foot area that includes several features such as a lake, a small pond, and a few fences.
Another must-visit attraction at the Charlotte Barc Park is its poop bag dispensers. These bags are handy pick-ups for your pet’s waste.

If you are visiting Charlotte and looking for pet friendly accommodations, there are many options to choose from. Many of these are located close to dog parks so you and your furry friend can have some fun!
The City of Charlotte has two dog parks. These parks are open all year and are separated into areas for large and small dogs.
One of the parks is called Waggin’ Tails, and it’s located in the North Charlotte Park and Sports Complex. It features a three-acre fenced area for dogs. You can also find water fountains and leash-free play for your pup.
Another park is Barc Parc North. This park is located near the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, as well as hiking trails.
Barc Park North is also located in Charlotte, South Carolina. Located off 62nd Avenue, this park is a fun place for your pup to spend the day. The 3.3-acre area has tree cover and water fountains.
