Heathland Course

The Heathland Course at Legends Golf & Resort Charlotte SC is a par-71, 6775-yard course. It is part of a complex that also includes the Moorland and Parkland courses.

This course was designed by renowned golf architect Tom Doak. The Heathland course is a Scottish links style layout. Many of the holes were designed with playability in mind. The fairways are wide and open, allowing players to move the ball down the fairway. There are also strategically placed bunkers and deep rough.

One of the holes, the par three 6th, is a dogleg left and requires over 200 yards to reach the fairway. However, the true test is the approach to the plateau green. Players must avoid a pot bunker in order to have a shot at the green.

Other interesting aspects of the Heathland course are its natural green complexes. These are reminiscent of the infamous Old Course at St Andrews in Scotland.

Heritage Club
