The deep bedroom cleaning checklist used by MaidThis always starts from the top down. Your ceiling fan will be swept free of dust, as will your light fixtures. While your maids in Philadelphia are working up high, they’ll also clear the corner where the wall meets the ceiling of any cobwebs.
Next, flat surfaces will be dusted. Bookshelves, decorative shelving, dressers and bedside tables will be dusted and left fresh. Clutter will be addressed at that time as well. You can speed the process by working with children on “how to clean your room” tasks, such as moving dirty clothes to hampers or putting toys away. Any clothing, books or other items left on side tables will be dealt with so the surface can be dusted. Wooden furniture, such as bedframes, chairs or jewelry armoires will also be wiped down.
Bed linens will be changed and any laundry left on the floor will be moved to the hamper. Shoes left out will be moved to the closet before the floor is cleaned. The floor will be swept and damp mopped or vacuumed as appropriate, and the baseboard will be vacuumed as well. Finally, the trash will be dumped and the trash can wiped out. If you have products that you know cause no irritation to your household, please leave the products out so our maids can quickly get to work. It’s also a good idea to provide us with properly sized trash bags. Part of our cleaning process when we leave any space is to dump the trash and empty the garbage cans. We do our best to put clean liners back in each trash container so it’s ready for the next user.
Our maids offer up to 3 loads of laundry for each cleaning service. Because laundry can be time-consuming, additional loads may result in additional fees. A trip to the laundromat can also be arranged for an additional fee.
