Living rooms and bedrooms

During full house cleaning services, you can expect careful attention to flat surfaces. Bookshelves will be dusted and wooden furniture can be polished. Be aware that MaidThis maids don’t move furniture; heavy items can be damaged by sliding or pushing.

Every Time Procedure

• High Dust: The ceiling fan, light fixture and corners where cobwebs cluster will be dry dusted to remove clinging dust.
• Pick Up and Straighten: Laundry will be picked up and put in hampers. Furniture cushions will be vacuumed and replaced. Remotes and gaming tools will be collected and placed beside your television. Books and magazines will be neatly stacked on shelves or side tables.
• Dust/Wipe: Flat surfaces will be dusted and polished as needed. Tables used for snacks or drinks will be wiped down to remove crumbs or drips.
• Clean Glass/Mirrors: Glass fronts on cabinets and mirrors on the wall will be polished.
• Clean Upholstery and Floors: Soft furnishings and carpets will be vacuumed. Solid surface flooring will be swept and mopped.

Special attention procedures

If you need a deep clean of your living room and bedrooms on a quarterly basis, we can vacuum surfaces such as the tops of your window treatments. We can also spot clean soft furnishings and carpets as required.

Bathrooms

Staying on top of clean bathrooms will both increase your comfort and protect the health of your family. You can also avoid mildew and bacterial build-up by getting your linens changed out each week, including changing out your shower curtain.

Every Time Procedure

• High Dust: Dusting your bathroom may sound odd, but starting with a high dust is still crucial. Dust clings in moist conditions. Dry dusting corners and light fixtures will reduce the risk of build-up.
• Pick Up and Straighten: Reading materials, phone cords and trash can quickly stack up in a bathroom.
• Soak and Scrub Showers and Tub: If you have special cleaners for your tub/shower, please let us know so we can safely clean these surfaces.
• Clean Glass/Mirrors: We’ll clean your glass shower panels and polish your mirrors.
• Scrub Sink and Fixtures: Sanitizing your sink and polishing chrome is part of the MaidThis cleaning checklist.
• Disinfecting Toilets and Shower Walls: Soap scum can linger on your shower walls. A careful and thorough disinfection of the inside and outside of your toilet will keep the space fresher.
• Clean Linens and Floor: Linens will be pulled and washed/dried or changed out. Rugs will be washed and the floor will be swept and mopped. Trash will be emptied and the trash can wiped out.

Special attention procedures

Your fabric shower curtain can be washed and your bathroom vent cover will be dusted and cleaned.

Kitchen and laundry rooms

Kitchens need regular disinfections and laundry rooms can quickly grow dusty. To make sure that your cooking space is safe for food prep, a regular sanitizing of your work surfaces and careful attention to crumbs, including sweeping and mopping the floor, is critical.

• High Dust: Light fixtures, ceiling fans and exhaust fans need dry dusted to remove clinging dust.
• Pick Up and Straighten: Flat surfaces collect clutter. Mail, book bags and other non-kitchen items will be consolidated or relocated.
• Dust/Wipe Surfaces, Door Knobs, and Furniture: Kitchens tend to be humid and airborne grease can cause dust to cling; soft furnishings will be vacuumed. Cabinet pulls and knobs will be wiped down.
• Clean Major Appliances: The outside of your refrigerator, your microwave and your cooktop will be cleaned.
• Clean Glass/Mirrors: Glass shelves and mirrored surfaces will be wiped down and polished as needed.
• Scrub, Dry, and Shine Sink: Once your countertop is sanitized, your sink will be wiped out and polished as possible.
• Clean Upholstery and Floor: Soft furnishings will be vacuumed and the floor will be swept and mopped.

Special Attention Procedures

You can book a deep clean to handle a messy oven or a refrigerator that need wiped down. MaidThis maids can also help you clean the inside of your cabinets during a deep clean. Spot cleaning of soft goods are also possible.
