Our 5-Step Cleaner Screening Process
Online Application
Interested persons with maid experience fill out an online application form. The hiring team immediately begins considering each one’s qualifications, completeness, and attention to detail.
STEP 1
Company Background Screening
MaidThis won’t hire even the most skilled and likable applicants if they don’t pass certain background checks. The investigation not only researches any criminal history but also verifies the honesty of employment and education information on the application.
STEP 5
Top 2% of cleaners in the Market
Only 2% of domestic maid applicants make it through this screening process
Phone Interview
An in-depth phone conversation with each applicant allows the hiring team time to ask questions and learn more about the potential housekeeper’s house cleaning experience, attitudes, and listening skills.
STEP 2
STEP 4
Orientation to Our Company
The applicants who make it to Phase 4 of the hiring process are given an orientation to learn more about the company’s cleaning policies and procedures. They also learn about the work ethic we value in our cleaners.
STEP 3
Meeting In Person
There’s nothing like a face-to-face meeting to get an idea of the kinds of things a person cares about and how they feel about people. Personal contact reveals what a potential team member can offer.

We’re not happy unless you’re happy
Cleaning is not just about getting rid of germs and creating sparkling spaces. It’s also about long-lasting peace of mind from having a fresh-smelling, bright environment free of chaos. When you’re not overwhelmed by chores, duties, and responsibilities, you can feel happy again.
A brief note about protecting your property:
Your cleaners will avoid wet-wiping lamps and light fixtures due to the risk of electric shock.
Your housekeepers will also avoid moving heavy or bulky furniture to prevent damage or personal injury.
Finally, because wall coverings and treatments are often unpredictably fragile, MaidThis advises the maids not to clean walls.
Does that sound awesome? Here’s how you book housekeeping service!
Let’s do it! It’s easy and quick to schedule your choice of housekeeping services in St. Petersburg.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do housecleaning visits take?
It depends on the condition and number of rooms. Weekly visits providing maintenance tidying and sanitizing usually take a few hours. Deep cleaning jobs such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and sofa cleaning require more time. Call us and let’s talk.
Do maids clean with pets present?
MaidThis cleaning services are always pet-friendly. Unfortunately, some pets aren’t cleaner-friendly, and some are too friendly! Your professional housekeeping job will be completed most quickly and safely when pets are kept in a closed room, a crate, or outside. If you have any concerns about how to handle your pets especially during deep cleaning, just contact our friendly support.
Can housekeeping tasks be customized?
Instead of a checklist of tasks, you can always customize maid service and order by the hour. MaidThis in the St. Petersburg area also allows you to focus on certain rooms or particular jobs. Simply communicate with the office and we’ll make it happen.
Can scheduling arrangements be changed?
We understand that life is full of surprises. Our system is flexible, and we’ll do everything possible to make sure the job gets done to your satisfaction. Call or use the easy online system to make any schedule changes.
Do cleaners in St. Petersburg & Clearwater bring their own supplies?
Yes — you can rely on your cleaners to come prepared each visit with commercial-grade safety-tested products to complete your residential or vacation rental housekeeping jobs.
When cleaning vacation rentals, will I be notified if there’s a problem?
Keeping lines of communication open is essential. The vacation rental/Airbnb housekeeping process includes housecleaners checking for and notifying you about damage, possible theft, or any other issue.
Do I need to be there for each visit?
Being present for the first visit lets you meet your cleaner, review any special conditions, and do a quick walk-through together. It also makes future communication more personalized. In your absence, rest assured that each maid has been thoroughly screened, background-checked, and bonded for your security.
What areas of St. Petersburg-Clearwater do you cover with your cleaning services?
Our cleaning services can be booked in all major areas of St. Petersburg-Clearwater region including Disston Heights, Dunedin, Largo, Pinellas Park, Safety Harbor, Seminole and many more! Simply contact us to know if your place is included.
