Historic county park

John Prince Park is a historic county park located in Lake Worth, FL. It is the second oldest county park in Florida and is named after a former county commissioner. The park is slated for renovation within a year, and plans call for more soccer fields, boat docks, dog parks, and picnic areas. The baseball field, however, could still be a factor. If baseball is moved to the site in Lake Worth, it would require filling in navigable waterways and getting Army Corps of Engineers permits.

The park is home to a number of nature trails. The trails in the southeast corner of the park are some of the oldest in the state.

Dog training facility

If you’ve been in the market for a new dog training facility, consider a new location in Lake Worth. The city is planning an expansion of its park, with more fields and picnic areas, and a dog training facility. But baseball could still be in the way on the northern site, and a project at a southern park would require filling in navigable waterways and Army Corps of Engineers permits.
