Frequently Asked Questions
What are the 7 steps of cleaning the kitchen?
As professionals, our cleaners use a very organized approach to kitchen cleaning. They generally follow these steps:
- Clean inside appliances and cabinets
- Wipe down appliance exteriors
- Clean countertop and cabinet surfaces
- Scrub the sinks
- Polish plumbing fixtures and cabinet hardware
- Sanitize all cooking surfaces
- Floor cleaning
What should be cleaned weekly in a kitchen?
Since deep cleaning a kitchen comes at a slightly higher cost, certain standard tasks should be handled on a weekly basis at a minimum. That would include wiping countertops and cabinets, cleaning all appliance exteriors, cleaning the sink and facets, disinfecting cooking surfaces, and cleaning the kitchen floor.
How long does deep cleaning a kitchen take?
Deep cleaning a kitchen requires getting at all of that hidden grease and grime. That requires doing things like oven cleaning, cleaning out cabinets and the refrigerator, and really scrubbing the sink and garbage disposal. A reasonable time estimate would have to take into account the size of your kitchen and the number of major appliances that would need attention. We would put that estimate at 1-3 hours.
