Meet David Lahav , owner of MaidThis Cleaning of Austin

Hey Austin! I’m David Lahav, the owner of this cleaning operation (and honestly, in a city this awesome, someone’s got to keep things as spotless as our reputation).

I started this business with one clear goal: to deliver an exceptional cleaning experience right here in Austin. Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest ones—take something people need, do it really well, and build genuine relationships along the way. That’s exactly what we set out to do, and Austin seemed like the perfect place to make it happen.

What drives me? Those raving reviews from customers that make all the hard work worth it. There’s something incredibly satisfying about knowing we’ve not just met expectations, but completely exceeded them. It’s more than a cleaning business: it’s about creating experiences that genuinely surprise and delight people. When someone takes time to write about how happy they are with our service, that’s when I know we’re doing something right.

When I’m not perfecting cleaning schedules, you’ll find me on the pickleball court or sitting quietly in meditation. It’s a pretty good balance—one gets the competitive energy out, and the other keeps me centered and focused. Both help me bring my best self to the business, which ultimately benefits everyone we serve.

Austin isn’t just where we work—it’s where we get to experience some of the best tacos and coffee in the world. But what really makes this city special is the people. Austinites are friendly, genuine, and just plain amazing to be around. There’s something about this place that brings out the best in everyone, and that energy definitely influences how we approach our work. So while you’re out exploring everything from South by Southwest to Zilker Park, we’ll be making sure your home is ready to welcome you back in true Austin style.

Keeping Austin clean, one satisfied customer at a time!
